The California State Association of Counties at their annual meeting in November 2007 recognized the unique partnership of Trinity County Government and the Trinity Public Utilities District in saving Trinity Hospital.  Trinity County was the only county in California with a population under 50,000 to receive CSAC’s annual Challenge Award for 2007.
