As a 4th generation native of Trinity
County, with a family history of public
service and private enterprise, I am pleased to be starting my fourth year as your representative and County Supervisor for District 2.
I believe that Trinity County is one of the few places in California
that has the opportunity, resources and lack of development to
determine its own future. Advances in technology and the current
Board Of Supervisors commitment to update the General Plan make this
a special time to enhance our economic opportunities while retaining
the things that make Trinity County unique.
With the combination of our natural resources & environmental
sensitivity, low cost power, historical knowledge, motivated
volunteers and community organizations our timing and the
opportunities are enormous.
Although we have many challenges ahead of us in Trinity County I
know that great things are possible with good planning, hard work,
attention to detail and getting others involved. Working on
fundamental systems while keeping a long term vision in mind can
reap great rewards and our county and communities deserve no less.
