Wendy Reiss

Elected County Supervisor -
District 5

District 5 is the largest district in Trinity County in terms of acreage.  The boundaries run from Salyer along Highway 299 to the greater Hyampom area, into Hayfork and all points south, bordering Humboldt, Mendocino, Shasta & Tehama Counties.  The communities include Salyer, Hyampom, a portion of Hayfork, Post Mountain/Trinity Pines, Mad River, Ruth, Hetten Valley, Kettenpom & Zenia. Several mountain ranges separate District 5 from the county seat of Weaverville, which makes for an interesting challenge to represent the district at the county level.

I believe in being involved with my constituents and have several standing meetings throughout the district that I attend on a monthly basis.  I also enjoy community meetings, as I see that as a good way to interact with the people in District 5.

I have lived in Trinity County since 1989 and enjoy life here.  I attempt to bring common sense to the position of Supervisor.  I am available to discuss your concerns and issues and look forward to continuing to work with you.
