Adult Services
Investigates reports of abuse and neglect of adults who are over 65 or disabled, and provides intervention, if necessary.

CalWORKS

Trinity County residents with dependent children who meet income, resource and other criteria may receive time-limited cash assistance.

Investigates reports of abuse and neglect of children under 18 years of age, and provides intervention, if necessary.

County Medical Services Program
For Trinity County residents who do not qualify for Medi-Cal, and who meet the resource requirements, County Medical Services Program (CMSP) helps pay for certain medical and dental bills.

Food Stamps
Trinity County residents who meet resource and income requirements may receive stamps that can be used to buy food.

General Assistance
A time-limited cash grant program for Trinity County residents who meet income and resource levels.  Cash grant is available to meet certain rent, utility and personal needs costs.  Grant must be repaid in cash or by performing unpaid work experience duties.

In-Home Supportive Services
Provides non-medical assistance to aged, blind or disabled individuals who are unable to remain safely in their own home without assistance with domestic services, heavy cleaning, cooking, etc.  Must meet SSI/SSP resource limits.

Medi-Cal
California residents who meet resource and other eligibility requirements qualify for assistance with certain medical/dental bills.  Trinity County residents who do not qualify for Medi-Cal may be eligible for the County Medical Services Program (CMSP).

Public Guardian
Provides Conservatorship and representative payee/money management services for disabled and elderly adults.
