Leading the State

Trinity County is part of 7 counties in the North Coast region contributing

to the developing the North Coast Integrated Regional Water

Management Plan.  The The County is preparing to adopt Phase one
of the Plan.  Developing this Plan enables the County to be eligible for

project planning and implementation monies allocated in Chapter

8 of Proposition 50.

 

 

Invasive Weed Information

Trinity County Weed Management Cooperative – with links to

 informative sites on the web.    

          

The Nature Conservancy has a fantastic database of all kinds of

invasives, ways to treat and prevent spreading of noxious weeds,

what to plant instead and pictures.

 

 

                               Weaver Basin Wetlands

 

     Completed in 2004, these wetlands are constructed on a 58 acre
     easement that ensures the land will be used in ways that value
