Duties:

The Auditor/Controller is the chief accounting officer of the County.  The department responsibilities are enumerated in many of the Codes of the State of California.

Services Provided:

  Pay and Pre-Audit Claims
  Compute tax rates and tax allocation factors
  Maintain financial controls over collection and distribution of      property taxes and treasury balances
  Account for and report financial transactions of the County
  Develop and implement accounting systems
  Conduct financial and compliance audits of County dept's.
  Control and maintain payroll of County personnel
  Risk Management
