I am honored to
be starting my first year on the Trinity County Board of
Supervisors, representing District 2, which is most of Weaverville
and the county seat. It is exciting to be working with this very
talented group of individuals both at county level in addition to
the amazing volunteer groups who have made such a difference in
Weaverville and countywide.
Even in these challenging times, I continue to
believe that collectively we have the ability to make significant
progress as a community and as a county to move forward in several
areas including: job creation, health care delivery, public safety
and improved planning and thoughtful residential and industrial
development.
Since Trinity County is one of three counties in California without
any incorporated cities, the Board of Supervisors carries the weight
for a large percentage of the decisions that will affect the future
for us all. I take this responsibility very seriously and know that
my decisions are only as good as my communication with the people of
the 2nd District and countywide.
