Trinity County residents are advised to be aware that we are expecting significant snowfall above 2000 to 3000 feet late Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning. Periods of heavy snow will impact travel over South Fork Mountain Pass, Berry Summit, Oregon Mountain Summit, Buckhorn Summit and Collier Tunnel by late Wednesday night. Snow levels are expected to fall to around 2,000 to 3,000 Wednesday night and heavy snow is expected. Be ready for winter driving conditions.
