Reporting to the County Administrative Officer, the Director of Human Resources is responsible for managing all Human Resource functions and operations, including risk management; recruitment and selection; classification; affirmative action plans and training; maintaining County salary plans; keeping employee records; processing payroll; maintaining the personnel system; and manages the collection of departmental OPEB contributions for submission to the County’s irrevocable trust with PARS. There are three direct reports including Administrative Coordinator II, Personnel Technician and Loss Prevention Specialist II.
