Please be aware that building permits cannot be issued until debris removal has been completed. Properties located on lease lots will also need a letter of approval from the issuing authority before a permit can be issued.
Property owners who are applying for a building permit for a structure do not need a separate permit to cover the restoration of power. Building permit fees for structures are based on square footage. For more information about building permit fees, email Zach Anderson at email@example.com.
Additional information, including the building permit application, can be found at https://www.trinitycounty.org/Building-Department. The Building Department can be contacted by calling 530-623-1354 or emailing Building_Dept@trinitycounty.org.
Make sure to check out all the USDA -NRCS Services for Disaster Victims on the Resources Page. The March NRCS deadlines have past for assistance of property restoration but the new deadline for June 9th programs is accepting applications.
Applications can take a month to process so get your appliations in as soon as possible.
