MMRP Inspection Applicant Guide

MMRP Inspections - MMRP Guide

MMRP Inspections are being scheduled by Environmental Compliance staff for the upcoming month of April 2024 and ongoing until further notice.

County staff has created a MMRP Guide that has a detailed description of the applicability and appropriate implementation of each mitigation measure. This guide may be updated from time to time as needed.

An initial email request was previously sent out by Trinity County Cannabis Division on 12/06/2023 to confirm availability for inspection to all issued CCL projects. An updated availability request email may be sent to all remaining issued CCL projects as their renewal date approaches.  All issued CCL projects that have not received or replied to a previous availability request should proceed at this time to email their general availability to meet onsite for MMRP inspection to Cannabis_CEQA@trinitycounty.org:

Please reply to this email @Cannabis_CEQA with:

  1. Preferred Contact Information (email and phone)
  2. CCL number, CCL-___
  3. Consultant, Authorized agent email address
  4. Availability – General times and dates

County staff will aim to schedule your inspection based on your availability, renewal date, and geographic location.

If additional information about our annual MMRP CEQA inspections is needed, please contact Environmental Compliance staff via phone or email.

A few FAQs:

  • MMRP inspections will review the Mitigation Measure Applicability Table (MMAT) included in your approved Appendix C and verify that mitigation measures are in place. If you do not have access to your MMAT, County staff will send you a copy upon request.
  • The estimated time that staff will be onsite for this inspection will be approximately 1 hour; time will vary depending on the size of the property and scope of project development.”
