On-Call Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection Services Contract

The Trinity County Department of Transportation (DOT) seeks to retain a qualified firm to provide the following services:  Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection Services.

Trinity County Department of Transportation will accept submittals from qualified firms to provide the required services, and intends to enter into one contract for On-Call Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection Services.  The selected firm would provide services on an as-needed basis, at various locations throughout Trinity County. Materials testing services may include concrete sampling and testing, compaction testing and other construction material sampling and testing. The County would select one consultant to provide the services. The contract is expected to be for an amount not to exceed $25,000 per contract.

 

This contract falls under the small project exemption, and registration with the Department of Industrial Relations is not required for this contract. However, California prevailing wages must be paid for all work categories included in the Department of Industrial Relations General Prevailing Wage Determinations. The contractor will be required to submit certified payroll to the County Project Manager.

The deadline for proposal submittal is 5:00 PM on January 7th, 2019.
